The Meth Lab is one of the five Motorcycle Club (MC) businesses available in GTA Online, introduced with the Bikers update. It operates as a passive income source: you supply it with either stolen or purchased supplies, and over time it converts those supplies into meth product. The product can then be sold through various delivery missions for profit.
To start, you must own an MC Clubhouse and then purchase a Meth Lab property (locations include Sandy Shores, Grand Senora Desert, and Paleto Bay). The business can be upgraded with Staff and Equipment upgrades to increase production speed and product value. Without upgrades, production is slow and profits are low.
Meth production consumes one unit of supplies to produce two units of product (with upgrades). The maximum product value is around $200,000 for a full bar (base game, no high-demand bonus). Prices and payouts are subject to change with game updates, so always check the current in-game values before investing. The Meth Lab is a solid mid-tier money maker, especially when paired with other businesses and the Nightclub's passive accrual.
Why it matters: It provides a steady, mostly passive income stream that can be sold solo or with a crew. It also feeds the Nightclub's South American Imports cargo, making it useful even if you don't actively run the business.
