Confirm that you are signed into the account that owns the purchase. Check available console storage and the download queue before preload opens.
A file-size estimate from a video is not a confirmed storage requirement. Installation may require more free space than the displayed transfer size.
Boxed copies and downloads
Rockstar describes the physical version as a box containing a download code, without a disc. A code still needs redemption and a download; it is not an offline installation option.
If the download does not start
First check that your library shows the correct edition and ownership. Compare your local date with the platform schedule, then check available space, connection status and download settings.
Avoid deleting saves or purchasing the game again as a first troubleshooting step. Use the official platform or Rockstar support route for purchase problems.
