Release, preload and unlock are different
The launch date describes when the game is scheduled to arrive. Preload lets you download in advance. An exact unlock time needs its own platform and timezone information; do not substitute the preload time for it.
Which copy are you getting?
Rockstar lists Standard and Ultimate editions. Its boxed version contains a download code, not a disc. Check the official version information and your account region before choosing a retailer.
What the release date does not confirm
A date does not establish working cheats, a money-making route, PC requirements or currency transfers. Check the separate trackers for the evidence behind those questions.
