The Hangar is a property introduced in the Smuggler's Run update. It allows players to store personal aircraft, customize them in the Workshop, and source and sell air-freight cargo for profit. Hangars are located at various airfields, with the cheapest at LSIA and the most expensive at Fort Zancudo (which grants access to the military base without a wanted level).
To make money, you source crates (e.g., narcotics, weapons) via missions, then sell them. Profits scale with the number of crates sold in a single type (e.g., 50 crates of one type yields a high bonus). Prices and payouts change with updates, so check in-game for current rates.
The Hangar also serves as a personal aircraft spawn point and can be upgraded with living quarters, a workshop, and extra storage. It is essential for players who want to own multiple aircraft and engage in aerial combat or smuggling operations.
