The Nightshark is a weaponized armored SUV introduced in the GTA Online Gunrunning update. It resembles a modified Ford F-450 Super Duty with heavy armor plating and can be stored in a personal garage or as a Personal Vehicle via the Mechanic. Its primary defense is its ability to withstand up to 26 homing rockets or 9 sticky bombs before being destroyed, making it one of the most explosive-resistant vehicles in the game.
Unlike the Insurgent Pick-Up Custom, the Nightshark has no mounted weapons by default, but it can be upgraded with front-facing machine guns (either standard or armor-piercing) at a Weapon Workshop in a Mobile Operations Center or Avenger. These guns are effective against unarmored targets but cannot lock on. The vehicle seats four and has moderate off-road capability.
For making money, the Nightshark is useful for protecting cargo during sell missions, especially in public lobbies where griefers use Oppressor Mk IIs or jets. Its high explosive resistance allows you to survive multiple attacks and escape. However, it lacks missile lock-on jammers or remote control, so it is not as versatile as some newer vehicles.
